Is it Possible to Make A Million in Six Months Online?
64Can you make a million online in six months?
A friend of mine gave me a challenge the other day. She asked me why I have never really had a real job. When she says real job, she means why I haven't ever worked in a traditional nine to five role. I told her that I could make a lot more money online and writing offline than I could in a traditional nine to five job. So, what did she do? She said I challenge you to see if you can make a million dollars in six months working online. I know for a fact it is possible, why? Because a friend of mine who lives in the states told me that he had made 1.5 million online in exactly four months. I asked him how he did it and he simply said, writing.
Okay I know it is totally possible to make a lot of money writing, but I didn't know it was possible to make as much money as he was talking. Anyway, he showed me his Paypal account and his bank account statements and to be honest with you I was in total and utter shock. So, I said to myself when my friend asked me if I could make a million in six months I accepted the challenge. I am not just talking about making money with Hubpages and Triond and other revenue share sites. I am talking writing for other website owners who urgently need content for their websites. I am not going to tell you how much money I have made doing this kind of work but there is a lot of money to be made doing it. I mean a lot of money, especially if you acquire plenty of work and outsource the work to other writers.
How do I plan on making all this money?

@Intriguewriter. I think you might like to understand the difference between being negative and being realistic. You might like to listen to Alain de Botton on this grand delusion that so many suffer from about everybody being able to achieve something because someone else did. There is a vast difference between negativity and realism.

Regardless of what you and others (including myself) have accomplished to date, that is not evidence that you will be a millionaire in six months time. However, if you do become a millionaire in six months (I think there's less time than that left now as per the date of publication of this hub, please let us know and I shall humbly apologize.)
The other misconception here is that Hub Pages or any other venue is a place where one receives positive encouragement for one's work and that's it's an obligation to encourage others even when there's evidence of doubt. Hub Pages is a business. Reality is a very strong and necessary force in business.
OK! Your hub was posted 11 months ago. Did you succeed in reaching your six-month goal? If not, what happened?
I bet not even close.
Yes an update would be interesting?
I was given a similar challange by a friend. He wants me to try and redo John Locke's Amazon ebook success (first time author who sold a million ebooks in 3 months [which means he made $300,000 in income in 3 months and over a million dollars by the end of the year). So, I'm working on that goal right now, to see if I can do it.
Like you I'm already living 100% off my online income, Not close to a million yet, but I'm getting there!
Anyways, I just wanted to say - nothing wrong with being a dreamer, because heck, if you don't dream up wild ideas, how the heck are you ever going to carry them out? You got to be a dreamer to achieve your dreams. How are we supposed to catch our dreams if we don't dream them up first? Dreaming is a good thing in my book!
Glad to hear you are doing good in your goals. (How close to a million is "close" by the way?) Keep on going, and keep on chasing those dreams!

You're dreaming. And someone is not quite telling you all the facts. Either that, or you left out the important part.
